If you're looking for a place to start your blog, don't look at
Wordpress.
They cannot handle the heat. And I am not talking about racism or porn
here, but anything that many others complain about.
They also try to track you with sophisticated pixel tracking strategies
that only a Tor browser detects.
They play games with your logins making you jump through hoops to log in
to your page,forcing you to read their TOS before you can logon to an
established account.
There servers are extremely slow. It's really a pain in the a** to use
wordpress. Their coding is bad and your photo will not show up without
special programming on your part, due to their buggy programming. Bunch
of amateurs really.
Currently looking for a new blog host.
